Lose Weight With 1200 Calorie Diets
The 1200 Calorie Diet Plans have gained an increasing popular interest in our market in the past decades. A lot of books on this subject with corresponding recipes and daily menus have come out because of the increasing number of people who want to lose weight and avoid the health risks associated with obesity.
It is not easy to create a caloric deficit using this diet plan because people can’t stand the sudden decrease of carbohydrate intake. Some withdraw from the diet after just a week and sometimes as early as 4 days. It is not easy. So if you are thinking of going on a 1200 calorie diet plan, here is a sample menu so you could test it first if you will be able to stand it for a long period of time.
1200 Calorie Diet Plan Menu
Breakfast
½ sliced banana
¾ cup cornflakes
1 slice Jack cheese
1 while wheat toast
1 teaspoon jam
Coffee or tea
Glass skim milk
Lunch
2 hot dogs
¼ cup mashed potatoes
Sauerkraut
Fresh fruit salad
1 ½ angel food cake
Coffee
Dinner
2 oz beef
½ cup Italian noodles
Cauliflower
Lettuce with low fat dressing
2 halves pears
Tea or coffee
Skim milk
You may add skimmed milk powder to fresh skimmed milk to improve its flavor and reinforce its nutrient value. When making a vegetable salad be sure to use one with no fat value. Two types of non fat salad dressing: The Mayonnaise type: 1 cup non fat milk, 2 tbs cornstarch, cook over low heat until thick, add ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp dry mustard and cool, add 2 tbs vinegar, egg coloring, beat until smooth. The French Dressing style: Add the following ingredients into a handy bottle and shake thoroughly until its well blended. 3-4 tbs wine or tarragon vinegar, juice of crushed garlic, salt, pepper, 1 cup tomato puree, ¼ cup lemon juice, 2-3 tbs catsup, ½ tsp sugar, ¼ tsp dry mustard, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce of you desire.
Although this may seem an easy diet to follow, a lot of people do get some problems in sticking to the 1200 calorie limit. The cravings are felt as early as the 4th day from the start. That is mostly when the food binges and “accidents” happen. I suggest that when you want to start a diet, start out with something that you can stick to for the long term to get maximum and successful results. TJaye Matthews

Can I lose weight modifying a 1200 calorie diet?
okay so I downloaded an app and it suggested I eat at least 1200 calories a day (which I know is low) I’ve read that a big concern with a diet with so few calories is your metabolism will slow down. So, what if I dedicated one day a week to pigging out to keep my metabolism up? Could it work?

From the prevalence and natural fresh foods, limiting heavy sauces, fried foods, sweets, salt and white sugar, sausages, alcohol, sauces, mayonnaise, ketchup, potato chips and salty snacks varied, and sugary fizzy drinks, peanuts / peanut and the like.
It ‘important to 5 small meals a day instead of large binges 2 times a day. Never skip breakfast.
The feeding schedule can be so kind: breakfast of simple and complex carbohydrates (bread, rusks, wholemeal biscuits or cereal flakes), milk or yogurt and fruit. Lunch will be single-pan based on complex carbohydrates (pasta, rice, dumplings, potatoes) or legumes. The dinner, protein-based (range from red meat, white fish, eggs and low-fat cheese). Both lunch and dinner should contain a good amount of vegetables.
Prefer bread, pasta and whole grains.
Give priority to fruit and vegetables in season.
Drink plenty of water out of the main meals ….. all I know ..; /

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans.
good luck,my friend
